Jermaine Henry

Founder & Senior Consultant
Jermaine Henry is a multifaceted leader with a passion for driving change within the arts. As the Founder & CEO of Change Agency, Jermaine combines his diverse talents, including authorship, musical artistry, masterful facilitation, and strategic planning, to create transformative experiences. With a degree in psychology, he leverages his deep understanding of human behavior to guide Change Agency's mission towards empowering artists and organizations.

Augustine Obeng

Consultant, Author and Social Worker
Augustine Obeng is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Masters of Social Work with a specialization in Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency. Augustine has spent over 18 years working with disenfranchised and marginalized groups in Black communities as well and on Indigenous Reserves in Canada. He is the founder of O.B.E.N.G CONSULTING (OPPORTUNITY. BUILDER. ENGINEERING. the NAVIGATION. of GREATNESS).

Shelly Grace

Creative Consultant
Shelly Grace, based in Toronto, is a versatile artist with a gift for spoken word poetry, arts advocacy, and visual storytelling through photography. Her creative journey is driven by a profound commitment to community building and healing. Shelly's artistic lens is focused on amplifying the voices and experiences of women and the Black community. Through her work, she brings to light stories that inspire, resonate, and foster meaningful connections.

Ika Washington

Consultant
Ika is a critical health sociologist and public health practitioner with a robust background in policy and research in global health, particularly at the intersections of health and social issues. Through her consulting (DiversityTalk), she tackles a broad spectrum of research and implementation projects, covering areas like health service management, chronic disease, infectious diseases, substance use, and social challenges. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Policy and Equity at York University, focusing on institutional strategies to improve mental health care and addiction for older Black adults in Canada. She is a Health Equity Specialist in mental health and addiction at a provincial system level. 

Jon Cada

Community Change Consultant
Jon’s career focuses on enhancing Northern Ontario's economic and community development profile. He is driven, and passionate and enjoys working on systems change projects. Jon has a Bachelor of Arts in Community Economics and Social Development (CESD) from Algoma University. He also has a background in journalism and communications, a skillset he leverages to explore strengths and weaknesses and areas of improvement for groups he works with. Jon possesses Board of Directors expertise and can train groups to develop their leadership capacity. He also has previous experience as a facilitator and trainer in the community arts field, project development, project management, group facilitation, cross-cultural collaborative practices, group mediation, developmental evaluation and job creation.

Talon fire bird

PowWow MC and Facilitator
Talon Fire Bird was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Though living most of his life in Thunder Bay where he currently resides. Building a solid understanding of northern communities and their unique dynamics. Talon has worked on many different initiatives and programs. Such as Feathers of Hope, TRC, Survivors secretariat, OFNYPC, Chiefs of Ontario and many other important initiatives across Canada and USA. He is a proud Ojibway man from Whitefish Bay First Nation and plays an active role of community development through nation to nation advocacy and rehabilitation.

Shamaia Veira

Web Design & Branding Consultant
Shamaia Veira, Co-Founder of Change Agency, brings over a decade of experience in the arts as the co-founder of The HEARD, an organization that has successfully orchestrated 50 arts events. As a branding consultant and website designer, Shamaia is dedicated to elevating artistic endeavors. Her expertise in branding and design plays a pivotal role in shaping Change Agency's identity and impact.

SKY-LEE Storm

Research & Development
Skylee Storm is a dedicated researcher and historian with a passion for policy analysis. With a background as a policy analyst at the Office of the Independent Special Interlocutor, Skylee brings a wealth of knowledge to Change Agency. Having completed an MA in Public History from Western, Skylee's insights drive the research and development initiatives that underpin our mission of transformative change within the arts.
